Well folks, here we are with another election just around the corner and we have some issues to look at. For right now, I am only going to look at the race for the Sheriff's seat in Worcester County, MD.
Sheriff Chuck Martin has decided not to run again due to his on-going battle with Lyme Disease. We wish him only the best. His years of service and dedication will not soon be forgotten.
But since Chuck Martin is stepping aside, this leaves a void that we the people must fill by electing a new Sheriff in November. The current contenders are (ordered by filing date) Reggie T. Mason(R), Carroll Overholt(D), Bobby Brittingham(D), & David Lee Cattrino(R). After looking at the available information, it seems to me that while all may be qualified, there is one that stands out above the rest, and that is Reggie Mason.
